Hahahah, it's always a hard line to navigate when it comes to how much of a story someone wants to reveal online, but personally I've always wanted to know a character's WHOLE STORY, it just makes me get a much better grasp for them and makes me like/care for to them so much more, but of course most people don't want to venture into spoiler territory... gyah, it's great that you guys posted his whole story though!!  <3

But why do the menticians think that torture will HELP with people's psychological disorders...? And not just create new ones.........?

I don't see how anyone could spend time with the centaurs and NOT come to love them, though. :3

because it does. They completely break the patient's identity and introduce a new set of values associated with recovery and freedom from the pain, so by the end of the whole ordeal the patient is thanking them. If the patient isn't thoroughly convinced he's better off, he goes through it again until he is.

And with patients who don't have a psychological problem but still need to be rehabilitated, the goal actually is to create one. So it can then be cured. With brainwashing. Yes? They medicate afterward to prevent it from coming back.

there are a lot of patients that just get medication. Only the dangerous ones get rehabilitated; it's a difficult and lengthy process, so.

word has it the centaurs have good booze and even better weed...

MAN. They're so... devious. Like, getting people to thank you for torturing them? That's the highest form of brainwashing. D:

Ain't no party like a centaur party.

I KNOW RIGHT. I think the cowboy boots are kinda your fault. But I'm not complaining!

He looks like a cross between an academic and a cowboy.

"Put down"...?! I FEEL LIKE THE ANGELS IN YOUR STORY ARE EVIL.
